Brave Browser Review 2020: Why You NEED To Switch!

I'm growing a bit weary of Brave lately. I have asked a question about privacy here and on their forum (several times) and there have been no answers yet.

They don't allow "self tipping" of granted BATs. I asked what information they store about me in order to be able to tell if I tip myself or not.

I can imagine that’s super annoying to not get a response. I do agree that the forums need to be more reliably managed

Luckily I know how this process works on their end: this is validated anonymously - your wallet is generated in browser without a user account or login so that’s not linked to your identity. When you receive a grant, it checks that you are not sending the BAT to the same address on which you received the grant first; the point of the grants is to get you sending BAT to new people and sites. This check can be done without storing anything about you specifically
